PAULA MERRILL

Paula Merrill is excited to start her 33rd year as an instructor at Weber School of Dance. She began her early dance education at the Weber School of Dance with
"Kinderdance". She continued her dance training through high school.
After high school graduation she attended Ball State University
and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. In 2001 Paula purchased
Weber School of Dance from Bette & Kahler Flock.
Paula is a highly qualified, experienced dance instructor and dedicated to the
traditions of the Weber School of Dance. Paula has performed leading roles at
Derby Dinner Playhouse and Music Theatre of Louisville.
Some of her favorite roles were Maggie Jones in 42nd Street and Val in A Chorus Line.
Paula choreographed and performed in "Quilters" at Muncie Civic Theatre, Muncie, Indiana. She was a soloist and company member with the Ball State Dance Theatre and Banevolks. She also choreographed "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" for the Jeffersonville High School Theatre. Paula is respected and loved by her students, and we are proud to have her as Owner and instructor of the Weber School of Dance.
MEGAN BLISS
Instructor/Choreographer
Megan Bliss began training at the Weber School of Dance when she was seven years old and continued through high school. She then furthered her education at Wright State University where she earned a BFA in dance. She has performed at many theaters locally and regionally as well as various shows and parades at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. For the most part, you can see her perform at Derby Dinner Playhouse. Favorite roles include Peter Pan in PETER PAN, Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Rita in WHITE CHRISTMAS, Lily St. Regis in ANNIE, Babette in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Brenda in HAIRSPRAY, and Kelsi in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. She has choreographed for many schools and theaters including Derby Dinner Playhouse, New Albany High School, Floyd Central High School, Wright State University, Providence High School, Beavercreek High School, Stebbins High School, and Hazelwood Junior High. She has a deep passion for teaching and choreographing and is very thankful to be a part of the staff at the Weber School of Dance.
